CoCo was founded in 1997 in Tamsui, Taiwan, with one goal: to bring joy to people through freshly brewed tea and bold, creative flavors. What started as a single shop quickly grew into one of the world’s most iconic bubble tea brands with over 5,000 locations across Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and beyond.
For more than 25 years, CoCo has been known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer experience. Our drinks are made fresh to order, using premium ingredients and authentic Taiwanese recipes. Now, CoCo Bubble Tea is proudly shaking things up in the Netherlands serving a new generation of bubble tea lovers, one cup at a time.
CoCo in the Netherlands: From Rotterdam to a National Favorite
CoCo’s Netherlands adventure began in July 2022, when the first store opened in Rotterdam’s iconic Koopgoot. The launch was a hit, after the first year we already moved the store to a larger location.
Building on that success, CoCo quickly expanded: Utrecht welcomed its store in mid‑2023, followed by new locations in The Hague, Amsterdam, and Leidschendam. Now, our fresh and authentic Taiwanese bubble tea is available across five major cities and we’re just getting started.
